PCT Day 33

Sunset above the clouds.

Sunrise in between the cloud layers.

Some trail magic at a ranger station.

The site where the PCT was officially completed in 1993 just outside Acton, CA.

“Breakfast” in Agua Dulce, one of the few towns that the PCT passes directly through.

The telltale sign of a hiker friendly establishment.

500 down 2,150 to go.

Making my own trail magic at an RV park in Acton, CA.

Poodle dog bush, a severely skin irritating bush that grows in burn areas (the seeds are activated by fire).

As always, more snakes.

A little TLC for the legs and feet.

Descending down to Hikertown in preparation for crossing a thin strip of the Mojave Desert.

Hikertown, half movie prop western town half junkyard.

Arrowhead water “sponsored” two nights at Hikertown by paying for everyone’s lodging, laundry, showers, etc - and giving out free food and water. Thank you Arrowhead you have my business forever.

The traveling physical therapist that follows “the bubble” of hikers from town to town.

Sometimes this is laundry…

…this is the shower…

…and this is the bed.
